Selling Your Used Car

You may advertise your own car for sale on this website for a one-off charge of £7.00. The advert will be displayed on the used cars section of this website until we receive your instruction to remove it from the site. Once a registration of interest has been received from a visitor to this site, you will be notified by e-mail with the relevant contact details of the party interested in your vehicle. It is then up to you to make contact with the enquirer and negotiate the terms of the sale. We will not divulge any of your contact details, it is your own responsibility to make direct contact with your potential buyer. Some Advice for Private Car Sellers

Please bear in mind the following points when selling your car privately:

. You may not sell any vehicle without the V5/C Log Book.
 
. You must settle any outstanding finance prior to selling the vehicle.
 
. Always 'insisit' on being paid by banker's draft or by building society cheque.
 
. Do not release the vehicle until your bank confirms that the funds have cleared.
 
. Do not accept cash or divulge your bank details to anyone under any circumstances.
 
. Never allow anyone to take an unaccompanied test drive in your vehicle. (It does happen!)
